After losing 70lbs. within the first year of my journey, I shifted my focus and successfully added 8lbs. of muscle following the guidelines in Master Your Macros. The reality is, that optimizing your nutrition plan for muscle gain can result in a bit of fat gain in the process. Since I was happy with what I had achieved, I was ready for a cut.

Reducing my daily calorie intake means I must be more selective with the foods I eat, and the biggest hurdle has always been managing my sweet tooth. For so long I felt like I couldn't eat certain things, like bread, muffins, cakes; all the indulgent sweet, comforting foods without hindering my progress. Breanne's Sweet Eats has been a cornerstone in my nutrition plan to lose an additional 13lbs. of fat while gaining a pound of muscle- without ever feeling deprived! Since all of her recipes are low-cal and high protein, hitting my daily calorie and macro targets has been super easy. When combined with my lifting regimen, the fat just seemed to fall off.
